
Gender-affirming healthcare saves lives. Many current OB/GYN practices would not be intentionally welcoming to transgender people. Studies have shown that over 50% of trans men avoid gynecological care. A trans woman who’s had reconstructive genital surgery will need gynecological care for her new vulva and vagina. How can the obstetrics and gynecological care industry become more inclusive for all gender identities, sexual orientations, and parental choices?
